Hello, I worked the issue of the browser being slowed down on Eserv Proxy. Apparently, I had some issues with my AccessRights/AllowSettings where I needed to set up access 10.0.0.x and I also set 0.0.0.0 access. Then I the Eserv Http became faster however I lost access to the irc.openprojects.net for having an Open Proxy.

What is the solution? When I tried to set an Object

http://, browsers on our LAN had User/Password popups and we do not want those popping up. Can I set it so that the LAN browsers have acces to the Http Proxy while no one outside the LAN has access?

Unfortunately, it hasn't been done yet. Using IP-authorization, you can lock HTTP proxy form outside access but only together with the HTTP server.

Probably, your problems may be solved by new Eproxy/3. See

eproxy.etype.net.

I was thinking that the issue with Open Proxy had to do with the Accessrights but now I am not sure since I after setting the AccessRights, they do not seem to affect the Open Proxy that the irc.openprojects.net reports when I log on. The Open Proxy causes them to autotically log me off their server.

How do I set Eserv so that there is no Open Proxy?

I am not sure what the AccessRights settings should look like. AllowConnections is from the outside or any port inside or outside the Eserv? I did download the Eproxy beta1. That works as far as a proxy on port 3130. But I am still confused about the irc.openprojects.net disconnecting me for an Open Proxy. I guess I want to know where it open and how to close it.

http://www.blitzed.org/bopm/ I am trying to figure out how to close or secure the ports so I can loggin.

It did seem that last week, I could log into the irc.openprojects.net while Eserv was running. I only started having problems after I was setting up our LAN this last week. I am still waiting for your answers to figure it out. But in the case that this website helps you to know more, I am posting it.
